STARTING OVER
Mario Barth developed a program in 2006 so that reformed convicts can earn credits toward having racially sensitive, intolerant, gang-related tattoos removed. These credits are earned through community service like Public Park Maintenance, School Education programs.
"If people were in a gang, or racist group and have served the time for the crimes they committed, and are trying to be constructive members of society, I will do what I can to help them by getting these marks of their past removed." says Barth.
"These tattoos are walking advertisements for hateful, outdated gangs and groups." Barth says. "Removing these marks saves the people that have changed, and prevent the gangs from further exposure, hopefully leading to their eventual end."
If you have tattoos from a group like this, and want to work toward their removal, please contact us to see if you are eligible for the Starting Over Program. We will ask you for pictures of your tattoos and the special circumstances through which we can help you work toward having them removed.
